Krupa requested for a Shankar Tucker instrumental here .

Krupa is a digital enthusiast and blogger based out of California. She moved from India to this exciting place a few months ago to be with her amazing husband Abhinandan. She writes about social media, self-development, weddings, and fashion. She draws inspiration from people, places and pretty things. Beyond digital media campaigns and writing, She enjoys food, baking, and learning classical Indian dance.

Wearing a half saree, but most prominently captures my personality. A true South Indian at heart defined by the bindi and filter coffee.

Going green and exploring neons. Wearing a Fab India Kurta with forever 21 leggings and neon artificial rose flower for some retro style while playing Indian board games

Capturing the spirit of spring/ summer through colour blocking and contrasting. Wearing a self-designed plain royal blue kurta with yellow leggings and dupatta. Completed the look with basic brown embroidered juttis.

Self-designed sleeveless  kurta with front pockets and abstract design. Great for a quick coffee date with the girlfriends.

Exploring old monuments in contemporary style. Wearing silver jhumkas  with crystal beads and the colorful tribal hairband over blue jeans and a plain black tee.

Simple a rich orange Kancheveram. Love the colour contrast on the blouse and pallu. pic2

Festival work attire. The skirt is designed by my sister and is inspired by the pleats of a saree. Teamed it with a black top, simple golden colour top and golden sandals.

Attending a friend’s small wedding ceremony in a black white kurta teamed with a hand painted Madhubani dupatta. Also wearing jhumkas and an artificial strand of jasmine flowers on my bun to complete the look.

According to Krupa , here are the 5 must have items in every Indian woman’s wardrobe :

  1. White Cotton Kurta
  2. Silk Saree
  3. Basic golden blouse
  4. Basic black blouse
  5. A pair of juttis

Krupa wants to travel around the world and try all kinds of food. May we suggest she carries all her Indian clothes and her beautiful smile as she travels the world :)
