Walk into my wardrobe – with Shivani Dogra

Shivani an interior designer  is simple yet stylish . She oozes charm making heads turn and well is not actually like any other girl next door.

I always mix street stuff with some store bought stuff. I love the thrill of ‘discovering’ a value deal.

Most of the clothes I am wearing here are from Santushti complex (Kapas and Anokhi), Sarojini Nagar, Nizamuddin, Janpath, The Shop, street shopping in Lucknow and Mumbai.
The light pink, shiny kameez was a real bargain from Janpath. I was shopping for work, when i saw this is a corner.
“The white, organza kurti you see was for Rs 75! A real steal! I discovered it in Sarojini and usually team it with a Raw Mango, Anokhi or Kiliol dupatta. The sandals are from Hideout in Khan market. “

“I also love shopping at Moonriver when they have a sale. I love the designers they stock and they’re not over the top pricey. I picked up quite a few good bargains during a sale there! “

“So mix and match is really my style! I don’t have a favourite brand and I’m quite at sea about most brands. But I like stores that offer a comforting, ‘non commercial’ ambience, like Moonriver and Kapas. “

Shivani’s great sense of style and Indian sensibilities also reflect in her interior projects. If you haven’t seen one of the first rental houses Shivani lived in , you must click  here.
